Align Chartered Surveyors have been appointed by North Yorkshire Council to secure operations for the proposed Maritime Training and Maritime Business Hub at the Port of Whitby, North Yorkshire, and to support the growth of the maritime sector.

Why Whitby?

With direct access to the North Sea and as the closest operational port to the Dogger Bank wind farm development, Whitby is perfectly positioned to become a premier location for maritime training and an operational base for businesses.

A £10 Million Investment

The project will see a £10 million investment in the creation of approximately 1,000m² of state-of-the-art facilities, including:

– Commercial space for maritime training
– Business accommodation
– Laboratories, workshops, and training rooms
– Bespoke office spaces
– Goods handling and vessel berths for marine industries
